Mithi: A cheetah entered two villages near the Indian border in Tharparkar's Islamkot tehsil, attacking and injuring eight people.

Seeing the cheetah in the villages of Saranghwari and Bhutaro, panic spread among the residents. Eight people injured in the leopard attack were shifted home after receiving medical treatment.

The victims said that the cheetah crossed the border from India and entered the village and attacked the people sitting outside the houses. The locals killed the leopard with their help.

Adjacent to the Indian border in the southeast of Sindh, Thar is the largest desert in Pakistan and the ninth-largest in the world with an area of ​​about 22,000 square kilometers.

According to unofficial figures, Thar has a population of about 1.5 million and residents live a simple life due to poverty. There is a severe shortage of water in the area.
