The cargo flight from London to Atlanta had to take off for an hour due to a technical glitch.

According to aviation sources, British Cargo Logic Air flight P35130 took off from its headquarters at London’s Heathrow Airport for Atlanta at 3:33 pm local time.

Shortly after takeoff, the plane suffered a technical malfunction. Upon contacting the control tower, the pilot was not allowed to land at Heathrow Airport but had to hover over the Milton Keynes area of London for about 33 minutes. In an emergency, the flight was at an altitude of about 9,000 feet.

The flight was later diverted to the sea south of London. According to aviation sources, it flew for another 40 minutes at sea along with the city of London and made about 8 laps at an altitude of 9,000 feet ۔ According to aviation experts, the pilot dropped extra fuel on the plane during this time.

At the direction of the control tower, the pilot turned the plane towards Germany and the plane managed to land at Frankfurt Airport in Germany three hours and 4 minutes after takeoff.

According to aviation sources, this Boeing 747 aircraft of GBLCA registration is 17 years old.

The plane, which made its maiden flight in March 2004, did not report any technical glitches in the cargo flight that was parked at Frankfurt Airport in Germany until further notice.
