Vivo has introduced the S9 FiveG and S9E5G smartphones.
These are updated versions of the Vivo S7 with hardware upgrades such as 5G connectivity and more.
The S9 FiveG has a MediaTek Density 1100 processor and a 6.44-inch AMOLED display that supports HDR10 Plus.
There is a dual-camera setup on the front and the 44-megapixel and 8-megapixel ultra-wide selfie camera are hidden in a notch design like the iPhone, while 90 Hz refresh rate support is also available.
The phone comes with 8 to 12 GB of RAM and 128 to 256 GB of storage while the back has a setup of 3 cameras.
The phone has a 64-megapixel main camera with 8-megapixel Ultra Wide and 2-megapixel macro cameras.
The 4000 mAh battery inside the phone provides 33 watts fast charging support while the company has integrated the Android 10 operating system with its new Origin OS.
The S9E, on the other hand, is a bit different with a Dementia 820 processor, 8 GB of RAM and 128 to 256 GB of storage.
The display of the phone is similar to that of S9 5G, i.e. 6.44 inch AMOLED display, but instead of five holes, Water Drop Notch has been given a single 32-megapixel camera.
The phone’s rear camera setup and battery are the same as the S9 FiveG.
These phones are first being offered for sale in China.
