Corona SOPs were blown up at the Kumbh festival, a Hindu religious festival in India and more than a thousand pilgrims tested positive for wearing masks and committing the worst violation of social distance.
According to Indian media, despite the government’s claims, millions of people attending the festival did not take care of Corona’s precautions.
Hundreds of thousands of people have participated in the ongoing Kumbh Mela in the Indian city of Haridwar.
More than 185,000 cases of corona have been reported in India today. The corona test of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also come positive.
The total number of corona cases in India is over 13.8 million and the death toll is over 100,000.
