Zimbabwe Make the History By Defeating Pakistan in T20 For First Time |
Pakistan’s worst defeat in the second T20 from Zimbabwe by 19 runs. Zimbabwe defended the lowest total in history.
In the second T20, Zimbabwe easily defeated the entire Pakistan team by just 99 runs with the help of bowlers and tied the series 1-1.
In the match being played in Harare, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first which proved to be correct.
Zimbabwe lost the first wicket for a total of 19 and captain Brendon Taylor was caught for 5 runs.
After that, Tinashe came to the crease of Marumani to support Kamohkamawe, but after scoring 13 runs, Arshad Iqbal ended his innings.

Intermittent loss of wickets has not helped Zimbabwe to average 118 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated overs.
Tanashe Kamohkamawe was the hosts’ top scorer with 34 runs in an innings, while Regis Chakboa was the second leading batsman with 18 runs.
For Pakistan, Mohammad Hasnain and Danish Aziz got 2-2 while Faheem Ashraf, Arshad Iqbal, Haris Rauf, and Usman Qadir got one each.
Captain Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan chased the target slowly and scored just 21 runs in 5 overs.
Mohammad Rizwan was the first batsman to be dismissed for 13 off 18 balls, after which Fakhr Zaman scored 2 off 7 balls.
Veteran all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez failed again in the series and was dismissed for just 5 runs off 56 balls, for which he faced 10 balls.
Captain Babar Azam’s courage was also answered with a score of 78. He was the highest run-scorer for Pakistan. He played an innings of 41 off 45 balls with the help of 5 fours.
Asif Ali’s series of failures did not end and he could not work for the team once again and was dismissed for just one run at the crucial time, after which Faheem Ashraf could not bear the pressure and scored 87 in the 19th over. He was dismissed for 2 runs.
Danish Aziz was also given a consistent chance in the series but he could not show his full potential and showed slow batting by scoring 22 runs off 24 balls, which included only one four.
The young batsmen failed to perform well for the team at a time when they had to score at lightning speed in the last overs.
Pakistan were bowled out for 99 in the last over and lost the match by 19 runs.
It should be noted that Pakistan has a 1-0 lead in the series of three T20 matches.
Pakistan beat Zimbabwe by 11 runs in the first T20 match thanks to the excellent performance of Mohammad Rizwan and the bowlers.
