Former Australian cricketer Stuart McGill has been abducted and tortured by unknown individuals for ransom.
International media have revealed in their reports that the tragic incident took place on April 14 in Sydney, Australia where the former cricketer was abducted and tortured by some unknown people.
However, the kidnappers released him an hour later, after which the police arrested four accused involved in the incident and registered a case against them.
Stuart McGill has not yet commented on the incident.
Stuart McGill represented Australia in international cricket between 1998 and 2008. During his career, he played 44 Tests and three ODIs.
