The Interior Ministry gave the good news to the nation, Kuwait restored visas for Pakistanis after 10 years.
Kuwait has restored family, business and technical visas for Pakistanis, according to a statement from the Interior Ministry.
The decision to restore the visa was taken during an important meeting between the Kuwaiti Prime Minister and Sheikh Rashid.
Earlier, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed called on Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamid Al-Sabah.
The meeting between Sheikh Rashid and the Kuwaiti Prime Minister was also attended by the Kuwaiti Interior Minister and the Pakistani Ambassador.
During the meeting, issues of mutual interest including Pak-Kuwait bilateral relations were discussed. Sheikh Rashid spoke to the Kuwaiti Prime Minister about visa restoration.
The Home Minister presented a special letter from Prime Minister Imran Khan to the Kuwaiti Prime Minister on the occasion.
Sheikh Rashid said that all Pakistanis consider Kuwait as their second home.
The Kuwaiti Prime Minister said that relations between Pakistan and Kuwait spanned over seven decades and the people of the two countries had a relationship of love and trust.
The meeting between Sheikh Rashid and Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamid Al-Sabah saw progress on the restoration of Kuwaiti visas for Pakistani nationals closed since 2011.
According to a statement issued by the Interior Ministry, it was decided to restore family and business visas between Pakistan and Kuwait immediately.
According to the statement, it was also decided to issue Kuwaiti visas to Pakistani workers as per the agreement.
According to the statement, after the restoration of Kuwaiti visa for Pakistanis, Pakistanis living in Gulf countries will be able to go to Kuwait with an online visa.
