Leading singer and musician Farhad Humayun, who suffered a brain tumor in November 2018, passed away on the morning of June 8.
Confirming his death on Farhad Humayun’s official Facebook page, it was said that the musicians had passed away for another world.
In a short post, fans and friends of the singer and musician were requested to offer Fateha for him and it was stated that Farhad Humayun wanted to celebrate his life.
The post did not state the cause of death of Farhad Humayun nor did it specify where he died and when and where his burial will take place.
As soon as the news of Farhad Humayun’s demise came to light, several showbiz personalities and people associated with music expressed their deep sorrow over his death, calling him a man full of life and love.

Singer Mesha Shafi, who worked with Farhad Humayun at the beginning of her career, also expressed grief over his demise and called him an amazing singer.
Actor Adnan Siddiqui also expressed grief over his death, prayed for his forgiveness and termed life as mortal.

Singer and musician Salman Ahmed also expressed grief over the demise of Farhad Humayun and termed him as talented.
Other personalities, including YouTuber Moro, also tweeted condolences over his death.

It may be recalled that in November 2018, Farhad Humayun had stated in his Facebook post that he had been diagnosed with a brain tumor and was undergoing treatment.
Faryad Humayun had said at the time that the tumor had been removed by surgery but he was still undergoing treatment.

Although Farhad Humayun used to post on Facebook about his engagements after undergoing brain tumor surgery, he never gave any news to his fans regarding his health.
Farhad Humayun was usually seen posting about his songs and other showbiz engagements, including interviews.
Farhad Humayun formed a music group called ‘Overload’ in 2003, which is one of the most popular music bands in the country.
He was accompanied by other singers and musicians, including singers Mesha Shafi and Atif Aslam.
Farhad Humayun has composed music for many famous songs. He has also won awards for composing wonderful music.
