In Singapore, a 17-year-old boy lost his life while playing basketball when the iron structure of a basketball board fell to the ground.
According to reports, a 17-year-old boy named ‘Mohammad Azare Yusri’ was playing in a basketball court in Bedouin in East Singapore on Monday night when a basketball board fell on him, killing the boy.

Police say we received a phone call around 9pm when we arrived at the scene, the boy was injured on the basketball court.
According to eyewitnesses, the injured boy was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
It is said that the boy jumped to put the ball in the basket and grabbed the basket and started hanging, due to which the ground structure of the basket board collapsed and fell on top of the boy.
According to officials, a new basketball board was installed in the basketball court in April 2020.
In addition, the basketball backboard that fell on the boy has been removed from the court while an investigation is underway.
