Last month, an 18-year-old Chinese student publicly accused him and other girls under the age of 18 of inciting them to have sex.
The student told Chinese media that Chris Wu seduced her after making her a drug and had sex with her when she was 17 years old.
A police statement issued last month said the student had been called in by Chris Woo’s team to cast music videos at the singer’s home.
Chris Wu denied the allegations last month and could not immediately be reached for comment.
Popstar’s studio did not respond to a request for comment, nor did their law firm.

It was not immediately clear if Chris Wu’s arrest had anything to do with the allegations made by the student in July.
Chris Wu made his Hollywood debut in 2017 with the science fiction film XXX: Return of Xander Cage and was a former member of the pop group EXO.
Dozens of brands have terminated their contracts with Chris Woo following the rape allegations.
