Restrictions on Providing Food on Domestic Flights

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has again banned the provision of food by airlines on domestic flights due to the threat of Corona.

According to a letter from the Civil Aviation Authority, the ban was imposed on the instructions of the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC).

According to Civil Aviation, all concerned stakeholders will be bound to implement the Corona SOPs. Instructions have been issued to all airlines not to provide food to passengers during the flight.

It may be recalled that airlines were allowed to offer packaged food to passengers from July 21.

Today, the national airline PIA has announced that half-liter bottles of mineral water will not be provided to passengers on domestic flights.

The notification said that the crew would provide water in glass to the passengers on demand.
