Civil liability. It is the most important coverage in any auto insurance and the minimum essential that must be contracted in order to obtain other coverage. It covers damages caused to the property of third parties, as well as injuries or death caused as a result of an accident for which the driver or owner of the car is responsible. Insurance companies compete with each other by offering new coverage for auto insurance. Those mentioned are the main ones found in all insurers, although with different scope and content:

Legal assistance. When an accident occurs, you are exposed to lawsuits and arrests by the authorities. This protection is responsible for the legal defense of the insured, including the payment of bonds and other related expenses.

Medical expenses to occupants. It covers the necessary medical expenses for the occupants of the insured car, as well as the last expenses if necessary.

Total robbery. Covers the price of the car less the deductible, in case of total theft, as well as the damage caused to the vehicle by theft in case it appears or by attempted theft.

Material damage. Covers damage caused to the vehicle itself during an accident of which the driver or owner has been at fault.

Coverages and additional benefits. These benefits are almost always offered from the comprehensive coverage policy, which is called extensive plus or some other names that indicate greater coverage. Some of the common additional protections are:

Civil liability extension. A larger sum is insured for accidents with catastrophic consequences.

Assistance on the road. Various services such as power supply, gasoline delivery, tire stripping, locksmith, etc.

Substitute car. It offers a car temporarily in which the car is in the workshop or in which the insurance for total loss is paid.

Partial theft. Protects against auto parts theft.

Accidents to the driver. Life insurance policy for the driver due to accidental death.

Tire insurance. Replace tires and rim in case of loss due to road conditions.
Transfer services. They transfer the driver if he cannot drive.

Pet coverage. It offers medical expenses in case of accident and funeral expenses for the pet.

Cosmetic Surgery. In case of being necessary as a result of an accident in the car.

Funeral assistance. The company takes care of all funeral procedures for the driver, occupants, and even third parties.
