KARACHI: Mochko police have arrested four accused, including three women belonging to the same family, on charges of smuggling cannabis from Quetta to Karachi.
According to SHO Mochko Nadeem Ahmed, police have arrested four persons, including mother, daughter, daughter-in-law, and daughter-in-law, on charges of supplying drugs. The accused used to bring hashish from Quetta and supply it to Karachi. Police also recovered 25kg of hashish hidden in the suspects' car.
In this regard, SHO Mochko said that the police stopped and searched the white Toyota Corolla car and found 25 kg of cannabis in it. Hazrat Gul, daughter Sana Bibi and daughter-in-law Shazia Bibi, wife of Syed Saddam Hussain were arrested.
The arrested drug dealer family is a resident of the Pishin area of Quetta. Arrested him, however, the arrested family is giving contradictory statements to the police. Police are investigating the suspects further.
