The statement said that while bowling on Wednesday, Muhammad Wasim Jr. felt pain in his back, after which Muhammad Wasim Jr. underwent an ‘MRI’ scan yesterday.
According to the statement, the medical panel of the Pakistan Cricket Team announced the injury of Muhammad Wasim Jr. after a complete review of the MRI report. In this regard, PCB’s Medical Advisory Committee and an independent physio were also consulted.
It was added that Mohammad Wasim Jr will complete his rehab, the PCB’s medical panel will now reassess Mohammad Wasim Jr’s injury ahead of the home series against England, after which he will decide to return to cricket. will go
According to the statement, fast bowler Hasan Ali has been included in the national squad in place of Mohammad Wasim Jr. His inclusion in the squad is subject to the approval of the Event Technical Committee (ETC).
After the approval of ETC, Hasan Ali will depart for Dubai on the first available flight.
The statement said that the team management had requested Hasan Ali to join the squad in place of Muhammad Wasim Jr. which was approved by the chief selector.
