Claudio Fernandez, the man who took pictures with the body of Argentina's great footballer Diego Maradona, has apologized.

Claudio's virality has caused a wave of outrage among Maradona's fans, with three people, including Claudio, posing for pictures with the open coffin of the football legend, much to the chagrin of fans.
On the other hand, the company that organizes the last rites says that the photographers have nothing to do with our company.
The photographer helped carry Maradona's coffin. Matthias Pecan, the company's manager, said the photos "shocked the company."
Maradona's lawyer, Mattis Morella, vowed to take action against those responsible for the photos.
Claudio Fernandez said the decision to take pictures was immediate and he had not planned in advance.
"Like every child, my son gestured to 'thumbs up' and he took a photo. I know we've gotten a lot of people angry and they misinterpreted it," he said. ۔
"I have received death threats, Maradona's fans say they will kill us, tear our heads off," Fernandez said.
Diego Maradona, 60, is thought to have died of a heart attack on November 25, but reports suggest he died as a result of a doctor's alleged negligence.
Maradona underwent a successful brain clot operation this month and was discharged from hospital on November 11, after which his entire focus was on getting rid of alcohol.
