The Mad Gate CH 1 (Chepter 1)

The Mad Gate Ch 1 by VoyceMe may be a series you won’t want to miss. The story is about in an exceeding world of magic and mystery, where the characters are forced to face their fears and fight for survival. The artwork is stunning, and also the writing is superb. I highly recommend this series!

By the time you finish reading this text you’ll have an understanding of the subsequent things: What is The Mad Gate Ch 1 about? A fantasy setting where there’s a huge emphasis on fighting evil creatures who threaten life. What genre does it fall under?

A comic book with RPG elements such as leveling up your character after defeating enemies. Who are its creators? One person who designs all aspects including art, music, and creative direction.

My opinion on why people should read it so far (Based off 3 episodes) It has potential because it feels familiar but at the same time has something fresh that makes it stand out from other comics.

If you are playing Eon always wanted to become a strong adventurer, clearing perilous dungeons and embarking on fantastical journeys. So, he became the assistant to the great warrior, Tor.

When an ominous dungeon, known as the Mad Gate, awakens, Eon joins Tor and the world’s strongest adventurers to clear it. But there, the heroes unexpectedly find themselves playing into the hands of an insane god. In a world of winners and losers, companions and betrayers, Eon will find the one path to attain his dreams at the Mad Gate. But at what cost?

  • My thoughts on where the VoyceMe series goes

Introduction to The Mad Gate Ch 1 by VoyceMe

So what’s The Mad Gate all about? I just digested the primary three episodes and my initial reaction was “I’m in.” This webtoon and VoyceMe original could be a cross between the hit webtoon series Solo Leveling and another VoyceMe original series called God Game. The Mad Gate also gives me strong Dungeons & Dragons vibes.

Like Solo Leveling, The Mad Gate encompasses a character leveling system and champions who filter out dungeons with different rankings. I also feel the art style was strongly influenced by Solo Leveling.

Brandon Chen (the man, the myth, the legend who wrote Oblivion Trials with me), isn’t only the author of The Mad Gate but another VoyceMe original series, God Game. Therefore, it involves no surprise that there are moments in Brandon’s latest series, The Mad Gate, where sick and twisted games are played, putting our beloved characters through hell, similar to his other series God Game.

The Mad Gate CH 1 Part 1

Why does this VoyceMe series give me Dungeons & Dragons vibes? Firstly, like D&D, there’s a celebration of adventurers with different skills and talents working together to filter dungeons. And secondly, the banter back and forth between our characters within the Mad Gate rings a bell in my memory of game night with my friends, as we roll dice and role-play together.

The story follows our main character Eon who may be a personal assistant to at least one of the good adventures in this world Author Brandon Chen created. Eon may be compared to a caddie in golf. He’s more so on the sidelines helping out, that’s still a situation happens thrusting our MC into action.

Mad gate Ch1: Theme & Tone of Story

The theme is defined because of the central idea or moral of a story. The theme of The Mad Gate is “to get something you have got to provide something.” The definition of tone is the overall mood or feeling of a bit of writing. The tone of the series is ferocious and kooky.

The Art of The Mad Gate CH 1

Art could be a living breathing thing and also the Mad Gate Ch 1may be a great example of how art can bring text to life. Because the illustrator for this series, Christopher Krady, does an exceptional job of world building through his art choices and he absolutely crushed the character design.

The Mad Gate CH 1 part 5

There were moments once I was reading the webtoon and that i couldn’t help but remember a Sega Genesis game I wont to play as a child titled Golden Axe. The art brought me right back to it game and my childhood. Something I felt was an enormous positive was how dynamic the art actually was. there’s a powerful resemblance to Solo Leveling.

The Mad Gate CH 1 part 2

However, The Mad Gate isn’t without its flaws. Because it’s over the highest and busy sometimes. that’s to mention, there’s lots, and that i mean plenty of action.

The color during this VoyceMe original series is bright and vibrant. It felt like something out of a Thor magazine. I loved the colour choices because they brought a lot of energy to the read.

The art within the Made Gate had me cruising through the story. If it had pages, i might have said it had been a page burner but it’s more of an excellent scroller (I should coin that phrase).

As of this writing, VoyceMe (the same publisher that brought you DevilUp and God Game) just dropped the primary 3 episodes of their new original series The Mad Gate. Furthermore, it’s set to be released every Monday on their website and app.

Conclusion

This VoyceMe original series has legs to face on and will become the subsequent Solo Leveling. Brandon could be a rising star within the industry and I’ve enjoyed all the projects he’s worked on.

Overall i believe you must absolutely give The Mad Gate an opportunity. The writing is great, the art is on point and it’ll provide you with all the feels. I can’t wait to determine where this VoyceMe original series takes us.

The Mad Gate CH 1 part 3

I have had the chance to figure out with Brandon. His brain may be a special, twisted thing. He blends fantasy and mystery so well, that you’d think you’re watching an episode of the TV program Lost.
