INDONESIA: Investigating Completed on Sri Vijaya Plane Crash

An investigation into a Boeing plane that crashed in Indonesia last month found that the pilots had complained several times about various problems with the plane.

Investigators say a preliminary investigation suggests the crash may have been caused by a malfunction in the engine control system of the Sri Vijaya Airbowing 737 Plan Crashed.

The investigation found that the crew had been reporting various problems with the 26-year-old plane, and investigators were gathering more information about the plane's defects and human error.

Last month (January 9), an Indonesian Boeing plane crashed shortly after takeoff near Jakarta, killing 62 people, including passengers and crew.
