Former Prime Minister and Leader of the Opposition in the Senate Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that it would not be appropriate to call us the official opposition.
Talking to media in Islamabad, Yousuf Raza Gilani said that the Opposition Alliance (PDM) participated in the by-elections and Senate elections on our advice.

He said that Bilawal Bhutto had suggested in the Senate elections that resignations would be seen as a last resort.
The former prime minister added that despite her martyrdom during the election campaign, the PPP participated in the election.
He said that the voice of the parliament is the voice of the nation, it should not be ignored, the situation has now changed on the issue of resignations.
Yousuf Raza Gilani further said that the resignations would be decided at the CEC meeting according to the new scenario.
