New Zealand Bans Indian Travelers
New Zealand has banned travelers from India from entering the country for two weeks following a sharp rise in cases of the coronavirus.
According to media reports, the move comes at a time when 23 cases of coronavirus have been reported on the New Zealand border today, 17 of which were from India.
New Zealand’s Prime Minister Jacinda Arden has said that a temporary ban has been imposed on travelers from India entering New Zealand. The ban will apply from April 11 to April 28.
The ban will affect not only Indian travelers but also Kiwi nationals returning home from India.
