Karachi:  8 Arrested for Shooting on Buffalo, Video Goes Viral

KARACHI: A buffalo brought for sacrifice in Quaid-e-Azam city fled after being chased by locals. Police arrested eight people in connection with the shooting.

The buffalo was slaughtered in the Scheme 33 area of ​​Karachi after firing yesterday. Moeen ur Rehman, the owner of the cattle, called for an inexperienced butcher, which caused the animal to run away.

When the animal could not be controlled, the owner enlisted the help of armed comrades and the buffalo came under heavy fire. The buffalo was hit by Kalashnikovs, repeaters and TTs, and in several places shots were fired to stop it, and the buffalo was wounded by a bullet in the leg.

Police registered a case of the incident at Sachal police station and arrested eight armed men after identification while the search for the remaining six is on. Other provisions have been added to the lawsuit, including the Animal Act section. According to police, the detainees have weapons licenses.
