Actor Hussein Oze of Turkish Drama Ertugrul Ghazi Has Died

Actor Hussein Oze, who played Korkot Bay in the second season of the popular Turkish drama series Derelish Ertugrul, which is being aired on PTV under the name Ertugrul Ghazi, has died.

Mehmet Bozdagh, director and producer of Ertugrul Ghazi, shared the news of Hussein Oze’s death.





Mehmet Bozdag shared a photo of the actor and wrote, “I am deeply saddened to learn that Hussein Oze, the esteemed actor and respected theater artist of our series Ertugrul, has passed away.”

“May Allah elevates their ranks and grants patience to their families, fans, and the artist community,” he added.

Hussain Oze was born in 1959 and has acted in a number of films and dramas.

Hussein Oze, best known for his role as Korkot Bay in Deir ez-Zor, has played the role of Ertugrul’s uncle and the brother of Haima Khatun.

Hussein Oze played a key role in the second season of Derelish Ertugrul, when the Qai tribe suffered during the Mongol invasion during the migration.





Many fellow actors mourned the death of the Turkish actor and paid tribute to him.

The story of Derelish Ertugrul dates back to before the establishment of the Ottoman Empire in the 13th century, which revolves around a brave Muslim general named Ertugrul, also known as Ertugrul Ghazi.

The play shows how in the 13th century, Turkish general Ertugrul bravely fought the Mongols, the Crusaders and the oppressors and maintained a series of victories.
