The obscene youth who fled after making a nasty move with a girl sitting in a Changchi rickshaw has been identified and Punjab government spokesman Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan said that he would be arrested soon.

On Friday, yet another video clip showing a man harassing a woman in Lahore on Independence Day went viral on social media, sparking outrage.

The video shows the man chasing and harassing women travelling in a Qingqi Rickshaw. He can be seen trying to inappropriately touch one of the women seated in the back of the rickshaw.

More videos of women being subjected to harassment at Lahore’s Greater Iqbal Park have surfaced after the incident of a crowd of men assaulting a female TikTok figure.

In this regard, Punjab government spokesman Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan said that the accused has been traced and will be arrested and severely punished.

He said that Punjab Police has traced the young man using all available resources and technology. Tracing was important as his face was not in the video. Once traced, an arrest will be made.

It may be recalled that on August 14 in Greater Iqbal Park in Lahore, Manchals also insulted a woman, tore her clothes and kept throwing her in the air. So far, 66 people have been arrested in the case.
